# Risk Insights

DocJacket surfaces risk and review signals in two places: the transaction header and the Documents tab.

## Transaction risk assessment

When a transaction has a stored risk assessment, a risk chip appears in the transaction header.

Click the chip to open the risk drawer. The drawer shows:

- Overall risk level
- Summary
- Risk factors
- Severity for each factor
- Mitigation notes when available
- Recommendations
- When the assessment was computed

Use **Re-run assessment** in the drawer to refresh the assessment from the current transaction state.

## Document checks

On the transaction **Documents** tab, the **AI Check** column handles document-level review.

Use it to:

- Run a risk scan on an uploaded document
- View risk findings
- Dismiss findings after review
- Check a contract for missing signatures or initials
- Open the contract-check viewer when issues are found

## AI Check statuses

The **AI Check** column can show two independent results:

- **Risk** — A document risk scan. Results can show scanning, clean, or a risk count.
- **Contract** — A contract check for missing signatures, initials, dates, and checkboxes. Results can show scanning, signed, or an issue count.

If neither check has run yet, the row shows **Scan**. Clicking it starts both the risk scan and contract check for that document.

When documents are selected in the **Documents Received** table, the bulk **AI Check** action runs on the selected documents. If nothing is selected, it runs on documents that have not been risk-scanned yet. Contract checks run in parallel for documents that have not already been contract-checked.

Risk findings open in a drawer with severity, description, flagged clause text when available, suggested action, page reference, and a dismiss action. Contract issues open in the **Contract Check** viewer with the PDF and issue overlays.

## How to use insights

Treat risk insights as review prompts. They help you decide where to look, but they do not replace your normal transaction review.

If you resolve a concern, re-run the relevant assessment or document check so the displayed result reflects the latest transaction state.
