# Managing Your Subscription

Handle all billing and subscription tasks from **Settings > Billing** (or the **Billing** link in the sidebar).

## Viewing your plan

The billing page shows:

- Your current plan and pricing
- Number of seats (active users)
- Usage for active transactions, AI extractions, and team members
- Next billing date
- Payment method on file

## Adding or removing seats

As your team grows or shrinks:

- **Add a seat** — Invite a new team member and a seat is added automatically. You'll be billed for the additional seat on your next billing cycle.
- **Remove a seat** — Deactivate a user in Settings > Team Members. The seat is freed up and your bill adjusts on the next cycle.

## Updating payment info

Click **Update Payment Method** on the billing page to change your credit card or payment details.

## Managing seats

Paid plans can manage seat count from **Settings > Billing**.

Open **Manage Seats**, choose the total seats you want, and confirm the change. The minimum seat count is based on your current active members and pending invitations.

## Canceling

If you need to cancel your subscription:

1. Go to **Settings > Billing**
2. Click **Cancel Subscription**
3. Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period

Your data is retained for a period after cancellation in case you want to come back.
