# Importing Deals from SkySlope

Switching to DocJacket from **SkySlope** — or Dotloop, dotloop, Brokermint, or another transaction platform? You can bring your active deals over yourself in a few minutes each. There's no live SkySlope sync, but you don't have to re-type anything: **export the documents you already have and let DocJacket rebuild the deal from them.**

## Is there a SkySlope integration or automatic import?

**Not a live, one-click sync.** DocJacket doesn't connect to SkySlope's system to pull loops in automatically. Instead, you use DocJacket's **Upload & Extract** to recreate each deal from its documents — the AI reads the contract and fills in the property, parties, key dates, and contract terms for you. For most files this takes a couple of minutes and you're not entering data by hand.

## Step 1 — Export from SkySlope

In SkySlope, open the loop you want to move and **download its documents** (the purchase contract at minimum, plus any addenda or disclosures) as **PDFs** to your computer. A single combined PDF is fine — DocJacket can split a multi-document packet automatically.

## Step 2 — Upload & Extract

1. In DocJacket, go to **Transactions** and click **New Transaction**
2. Choose **Create New Transaction**
3. Drop the exported PDFs into the upload area
4. DocJacket extracts the deal details — **property address, buyer/seller and agents, key dates, and price/terms** — and shows them for review
5. Check the extracted fields, then click **Create Transaction**

The new transaction opens with its documents attached, its timeline and key dates populated, and its checklist ready — the same as any deal created in DocJacket.

:::tip Do the active files first
You don't need to migrate closed history. Start with your **live, in-progress deals** so nothing in flight slips, then bring over others as you have time.

## What comes over — and what doesn't

- **Comes over:** the documents you upload, and everything DocJacket extracts from them — property, contacts, key dates, financials, and a checklist.
- **Doesn't come over automatically:** SkySlope-specific notes, task history, or internal comments that live only inside SkySlope and aren't in the documents. Re-add anything critical as a task or note on the DocJacket transaction.
