# Mobile & Devices

## Is there a mobile app? Do you have an app?

**No — there's no native app to download, and none is needed.** DocJacket is a **web app**: there's no iOS app in the App Store and no Android app in Google Play. You use it in any modern web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. Just go to your DocJacket address and sign in; everything stays in sync because it's the same cloud account on every device.

## On a phone or tablet

The DocJacket interface works in a mobile browser. For heavier work — reviewing a contract, building checklists, mapping form fields — a larger screen is more comfortable, but you can check transactions, tasks, and messages on the go.

**Tip:** add DocJacket to your phone's home screen from your browser's share menu for one-tap access that feels like an app.

## What clients and agents see on mobile

Your clients and agents never need an app. The [Client Portal](../client-portal/index.mdx) is **web-only** — a **link** you send them that opens right in their phone or computer browser. There's no portal app to install; they can only access it on the web, via the link. When you set up a portal, you can preview both the **mobile** and **desktop** views before sending — so you see exactly what the recipient will see.

## Working alongside Claude

DocJacket also connects to Claude, including **Claude Desktop** (Mac/Windows) and other Claude surfaces, so you can drive DocJacket with AI. See [AI Access](../ai-access/index.mdx).
