Agent Briefing

An Agent Briefing is an automatic digest that keeps an agent on top of their to-dos without you texting them by hand. On a schedule you choose, DocJacket emails the agent their open portal tasks — overdue and due in the next 7 days — across every deal they're on, with a link to their agent portal. Optionally it also sends a short text nudge with the same link.

Setting it up

  1. Open the agent's contact page (Contacts, then the agent).
  2. Find the Agent Briefing card.
  3. Turn it on and choose:
    • Daily or weekly — and for weekly, which day
    • Send time and timezone
    • Email, text, or both

That's it — the briefing sends itself from then on, always reflecting the current task list.

What the agent receives

  • An email listing their overdue tasks and tasks due in the next 7 days, grouped by deal, with a link to their agent portal. It sends from your connected Gmail or Outlook, so it looks like it came from you and replies come back to you.
  • If texting is on, one short text — "You have 4 tasks due this week across your deals" — with the portal link. Texts respect the agent's texting consent and opt-outs, and use one SMS credit per message.

What's included — and what isn't

The briefing shows only portal-visible tasks — the same ones the agent sees on their portal hub. The portal eye on each task stays your control over what agents see; anything you keep internal never appears in a briefing.

Two quiet rules keep it from becoming noise:

  • Nothing due, nothing sent. An agent with no open portal tasks doesn't get an empty briefing.
  • At most one briefing per agent per day, even if more than one schedule points at them.

Example: Set an agent's briefing to weekly, Monday at 8:00 AM, email and text. Every Monday they get "here's your week" from your address — automatically — and there's no excuse for a missed signature.
