Subtasks

Some tasks are better broken into smaller steps. Subtasks let you do that while keeping everything grouped under the parent task.

Adding subtasks

  1. Click a task to open its detail drawer
  2. Scroll to the Subtasks section
  3. Type a subtask name and press Enter
  4. Repeat for each step

Tracking progress

  • Check off subtasks directly in the drawer as you complete them
  • The parent task tracks progress automatically — you'll see "2 of 5 complete" style indicators
  • In the main task list, click the expand arrow next to a task to see its subtasks inline

Tips

  • Use subtasks for multi-step processes like "Order title search" → "Review title commitment" → "Clear title exceptions"
  • Subtasks are great for tasks that multiple people contribute to
  • Completing all subtasks doesn't automatically complete the parent task — you still check off the parent when everything's done
