Notification Preferences

Control what notifications you receive and how you receive them.

Configuring notifications

Go to Settings > Notifications to manage your personal preferences. Changes autosave shortly after you toggle a setting or change a field.

Notification preferences affect only your user account. They do not change what other team members receive and do not turn organization automation rules on or off.

Email notifications

Use Email Notifications to decide whether DocJacket sends notification emails to you. When email notifications are on, you can choose which categories should email you:

  • Transaction updates — Changes to contract details, parties, or status
  • Deadline reminders — Upcoming tasks and key-date contingencies
  • Task and milestone completions — Work completed for you
  • Document activity — New uploads, approvals, or rejections
  • System alerts — Account, billing, and AI action alerts

Turn off Email Notifications if you do not want notification emails. In-app notifications can still appear if that separate setting is enabled.

Morning Briefing

DocJacket can send you a daily morning briefing email with overdue tasks, upcoming deadlines, and suggested actions.

When Morning Briefing is on, choose:

  • Delivery Time — The local time to send the briefing
  • Timezone — Eastern, Central, Mountain, Arizona, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii, or UTC

Use Send Test Briefing to send a real briefing email to your inbox immediately. If there is no briefing data available, DocJacket may show that there was nothing to send.

In-App Notifications

Use In-App Notifications to control whether alerts appear in the bell icon panel.

Tips

  • Start with email and in-app notifications on, then turn off the categories that are noisy for your role
  • Keep the morning briefing on if you like a daily overview of overdue work and upcoming deadlines
  • Use the test briefing after changing time or timezone settings so you know what the email looks like
