E-Signatures

The E-Signatures page gives you one place to review signature requests and signing progress.

Signature requests can come from a transaction document or from a form packet built from office-approved templates. The E-Signatures page tracks requests across statuses such as pending, partially completed, completed, cancelled, declined, or expired.

What you see

The list includes:

  • Document name
  • Related transaction address
  • Signature status
  • Number of signers
  • Completion progress
  • Created date

Rows show whether a request has expired. Pending and partially completed requests can be cancelled from this page.

Cancelling a request

Pending or partially completed requests can be cancelled from the E-Signatures page. Completed requests remain as signed records.

Document requests vs form packets

Use a document-level Signature Request when you already have the exact PDF in the transaction Documents tab and only need to send that document for signing.

Use an approved form packet when you want DocJacket to assemble one or more reusable office forms, autofill transaction data, collect any remaining agent-entered fields, and send the packet for signing.

The setup is different:

  • Uploaded document requests are started from a document row action.
  • Office-approved form packets are started from the transaction Documents > Forms & signatures subtab.
  • Form packets require the transaction to have an office, at least one published template for that office, and designated broker information on the office's Branding tab.
