Task Templates
Task templates are pre-built checklists you can apply to any transaction. They're separate from timeline templates — you can use them independently or together.
Creating a task template
- Go to Templates > Task Templates in the sidebar
- Click New Template
- Add tasks with:
- Task name and description
- Priority (Urgent, High, Medium, Low)
- Due date offset (relative to anchor date or closing date)
- Assignee role
- Linked email template (optional)
- Save the template
Applying to a transaction
From a transaction's Tasks tab, click Apply Template and select the template. All tasks are added with their pre-configured settings, and due dates are calculated based on the transaction's dates.
Task templates vs. timeline templates

Many TCs use both: a timeline template for the big-picture deadlines, and a task template for the detailed day-to-day checklist.
